CCCHS West County Times Table Search Form Entry

When the Contra Costa Times closed its West County office in Richmond a few years ago, their extensive collection of clipped articles was donated to the Society. A table has been built showing the titles of the folders in this collection, along with the file drawer in which they are currently housed.

Please use this form to search our database of news clippings from the West County Times. You must enter some or all of a subject to search. The data entered for subject is not case sensitive. For example, "Richmond", "RICHMOND" and "richmond" will return the same result.

You also have two search options available:

• "Contains" (default): looks for your search string anywhere in the subject field.
• "Start With" : looks for your search string at the start of the subject field.

For example, if you enter the search string "RICHMOND", using the CONTAINS option will return entries where RICHMOND is found anywhere in the folder entry. If you use the STARTS WITH option, only entries that begin with the string "RICHMOND" will be returned.
